ATM installation process
From signed agreement to first live transaction is typically one to three weeks, and most of that is scheduling rather than work.
Site survey
Placement location, power, connectivity, lighting, sightlines, and accessibility clearances. Done in person or from photographs and measurements depending on distance.
Configuration
Terminal ID assignment, surcharge configuration, receipt header, and network parameters are set before the machine leaves for the site.
Install day
Delivery, mounting or anchoring, connectivity, encryption key loading, and live test transactions. Typically two to four hours on site.
Handoff
Staff walkthrough covering receipt paper, what to do on a fault, and who to call. Short, because there is not much for the location to do.
